Job Description
Alpine Animal Hospital is seeking a customer service specialist focused on people and their love for their pets. The ideal candidate will be able to respond respectfully and efficiently to multiple phone lines, answer with a smile, pay attention to detail and schedule appointments appropriately. This position requires the ability to understand the pre-requisites and needs for various medical treatments. Though this can be learned over time, previous experience in an animal hospital and working with a computerized management and scheduling system is preferred. Requirements include a team centric attitude, ability to communicate and a willingness to grow and develop your skills. Benefits included. Compensation varies with experience: $18-25/hr.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative

Responsibilities
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Generate sales leads
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

Salary
Schedule
We work a four-day work week with approximately 10 hour days. The team arrives at 7:30 am and leaves when all the work is completed at the end of the day. We close at 5 pm and typically end our day around 6:30 pm. We are open Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm, and we close for lunch from 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm.
