She moved to the valley in May of 2008 after spending time in Northern Colorado, Oregon, and growing up in California. Cheryl has a BS in Wildlife Biology with a Minor in Zoology from Colorado State University. Cheryl began her career as a veterinary technician in California in 1994. Since then, she has worked with large and small animals as well as animal emergency clinics and with state and federal wildlife agencies. Cheryl has also spent years working with captive wildlife sanctuaries in Colorado. She spends her free time exploring, biking, hiking, snowboarding, and boating in the Roaring Fork River Valley with her husband, son, and one cat, and three dogs.
