Cheyanne Parker
Veterinary Assistant
Cheyanne grew up in a small town in southeastern Colorado, surrounded by the animals that would shape the course of her life. From horses and cattle to parrots, ferrets, iguanas, and tons of dogs and cats, her childhood was spent immersed in the rhythms of animal care. With a mother who worked as a veterinary nurse, Cheyanne grew up in a veterinary clinic, helping out beside her mom as soon as she was old enough to lend a hand.
Her passion for animal health and conservation led her to Colorado Mountain College, where she graduated from the veterinary technician program. While completing her studies, she interned at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, deepening her knowledge of exotic animal care and strengthening her commitment to conservation.
After graduating, Cheyanne broadened her experience by working in a large and small animal clinic in northern Texas.
When she’s not working, Cheyanne loves spending time with her family—playing at the park with her daughter, traveling, and going on walks with her beloved miniature wiener dog.
